Importing a blog from posterous

Here I am trying to import my blog from Posterous, which is closing down. I`ve tried Wordpress in vain as the New Blog page will simply not open on my computer. Now I`ve spend another couple of hours rtying to import post to Blogger but still unsuccessfully. Who knows, maybe someone willl shine some light into the matter. I`m seriously considering giving up and just abandining blogging altogether.
